The sensor is a normally open switch that closes in the presence of a magnetic field.There are multiple compatible Whisker.Block® products available that have a dry contact input. The part numbers of the compatible Whisker.Block® products are show to the right.Refer to the Whisker.Block® documentation for details on the various modes for reading the state of the sensor.PowerThis is a passive sensor that requires no external power. MountingThere are screw holes for mounting both the switch body and the associated magnet but they can also be mounted with double sided tape (not included).
